Quickstart

Install the ask command and send your first question in two minutes.

1. Get your credentials

Ask your administrator for a username and a starting PIN. You can change the PIN after your first sign-in.

2. Install

Run one line in your terminal. The full guide, including what it changes and how to remove it, is in Installation.

Windows (Command Prompt or PowerShell):

powershell -c "irm https://your-domain/i|iex"

Ubuntu, macOS or WSL:

curl -fsSL https://your-domain/i | sh

3. Ask

ask "reverse a string in python"
cat app.py | ask "fix the bug"
ask

The last line, with no arguments, opens chat mode. See Commands.

4. Change your PIN

ask pin

A PIN is exactly 4 characters, with letters and numbers, at least one of each. Changing it signs you out on your other devices.
